WOMEN'S IMAGES, IMAGES DE FEMMES
"Women's Images" is a series of photos staged with atypical marks. These images in the detached aestheticism engender no emotion, leaving the spectator as a passer-by in front of the shop window of a store. However, they do not contribute to convey the image of the woman as a sex object, the stereotype so anchored in the unconscious which it crosses unnoticed ?
"Images de Femmes" est une série de photographies mises en scène avec des repères atypiques. Ces images à l'esthétisme détaché n'engendrent aucune émotion, laissant le spectateur comme un passant devant la vitrine d'un magasin. Pour autant, ne contribuent-elles pas à véhiculer l'image de la femme-objet, stéréotype si ancré dans l'inconscient qu'il passe inaperçu ?

SURREALISM
The surrealism is a link gathering the reality and the sensitive imagination of the dreams. It is the fusion absolved from these two states. Photos, escaping the control exercised by the reason, are dictated by the thought. Is it necessary to free itself for all that from any ethical and moral preoccupation ? These photos abolish the space and create passages towards parallel worlds. It is visions which destroy our certainty and substitute our truth to the stranger, to the supernatural and to the myths... Fragile peaces of mind!
Le surréalisme est un lien réunissant la réalité et l'imaginaire sensible des rêves. C'est la fusion absolue de ces deux états. Les photos, échappant au contrôle exercé par la raison, sont dictées par la pensée. Faut-il pour autant s'affranchir de toute préoccupation éthique et morale ? Ces photographies abolissent l'espace et créent des passages vers des mondes parallèles. Ce sont des visions qui détruisent notre certitude et substituent notre vérité à l'inconnu, au merveilleux et aux mythes... Fragiles quiétudes !
